The Medicare GLP‑1 Bridge program went into effect July 1, 2026. If you qualify, you could access a weight loss medication for as little as a $50 copay. Doctor-guided treatment for $39 for your first month of membership + cost of medication.*

Starting July 1, 2026, a new Medicare program called the GLP-1 Bridge began offering temporary coverage for FDA-approved weight loss medications. It's open to people enrolled in Medicare Part D who meet the eligibility requirements, and the program only runs for a limited amount of time.
If you were told in the past that Medicare doesn't cover your weight loss medication, it's worth checking your eligibility again.
