Angel Llanio

Angel E. Llanio D.O. is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Born in Cuba and raised in Miami-Dade county, Dr Llanio speaks fluent Spanish and English. He received his Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 2004. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010 with a degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. He initially did OB-GYN residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. After 2 years he transferred to the Family Medicine residency at Largo Medical Center and graduated in 2014. He was Chief Resident for his Family Medicine program at Largo Medical Center. His approach with patients starts with the Golden Rule. Treat others the way you want to be treated. He takes the time to listen to patients’ concerns and he fully addresses their problems. In addition, he enjoys practicing to the full extent as a Family Medicine Physician. He only refers to a sub-specialist when it is beyond what he can treat. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and all their children. He has played drums since he was 12 years old. He enjoys making music with his friends. He also enjoys doing music and video production, photography, fishing and exercising.
