Hello, I am Dr. Barrick, pleasure to meet you! I’ve been working with Mochi for a long time, almost three years and have seen the company grow from a spunky little start up to one of the biggest (and best) medically-assisted weight loss companies in telehealth. It’s been an incredible experience and I am proud of my contribution to Mochi’s growth and success. I have developed a huge breadth of experience managing a GLP-1 agonist assisted weight loss journey and I am incredibly excited to help you on yours! My experience and guidance will help you get the most out of these incredible medications. There is definitely a right way and a wrong way to do this, it’s not just about getting to your goal weight, it’s about enjoying the journey, optimizing your health in every way possible throughout the process and then staying at that goal weight for good (no more yo-yo dieting!). I emphasize a customized approach for every patient. No two weight loss journeys are exactly alike and adjusting to various obstacles and variables including your natural genetics, lifestyle, schedule and medical history is critical to getting the most out of this. I hate one-size-fits-all medicine and you’ll never get that from me. You won’t run into the anonymity and lack of communication that you can see with some telehealth providers, I am very responsive to any questions and concerns that may come up in between our appointments, I will always get back to you within a few hours (unless it’s a weekend and I’m backpacking off the grid, which I do enjoy doing).
