I help clients improve their health, energy, and quality of life through personalized, trauma-informed, evidence-based wellness coaching. My areas of focus include chronic illness support, sustainable weight management, nutrition and fitness, mindful eating, women's hormone health (including perimenopause & menopause), stress and anxiety reduction, burnout prevention and recovery, workplace wellness, sleep optimization, nervous system regulation, gut-brain communication, substance use reduction, and lasting lifestyle change. My approach integrates evidence-based lifestyle and functional medicine principles with nutrition, movement, mindfulness, healthy living practices, and behavior change science. I am deeply interested in understanding the root causes of illness and the complex relationships among stress, emotions, lifestyle, and overall well-being. Working collaboratively, I help clients identify their strengths and intrinsic motivations, develop meaningful SMART goals aligned with their values, and build sustainable habits that support long-term health. Through compassionate guidance, accountability, and encouragement, I help transform care plans into practical daily actions. For individuals living with chronic illness, health coaching provides valuable support in navigating the many decisions and challenges that can make managing health feel like a full-time job. My path to health coaching is rooted in personal experience. After spending my youth training as a dancer, singer, and actress, I developed a complex chronic illness that went undiagnosed and dismissed by doctors for years. This experience has given me a unique understanding of feeling frustrated, stuck, alone, and hopeless on a health journey, needing to muster much courage, willpower, and resilience to come out on the other side. Now I am an advocate for individuals living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and related comorbidities including Dysautonomias (POTS) and Mast Cell Diseases (MCAS), participating in The Ehlers-Danlos Society’s EDS ECHO Healthcare Student Program in 2025 and continuing to gain additional certifications related to hypermobility-related disorders. I am also preparing to sit for the Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) examination in Fall 2026. Since 2021, I have worked towards completing the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher Training Certificate at Brown University, and have achieved the designation of Qualified MBSR Teacher. With nearly 25 years’ dedication to daily meditation, I continue to deepen my practice of dharma as a student and teacher of mindfulness, meditation, growth mindset, gratitude, compassion, and kindness. Currently, I am pursuing a M.S. in Human Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport on the pathway to the Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) board certification, and hold a B.A. from Hamilton College (Clinton, NY).
