I'm a New Mexico native, born and bred! My educational journey started at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, where I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Development. Driven by my passion for knowledge, I returned to academia at New Mexico State University. There, I embarked on a path that led to multiple degrees in Nursing: a Bachelor's, a Master's, and finally, a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2019. These qualifications have equipped me with a deep understanding of healthcare and a commitment to excellence in patient care. Beyond my professional achievements, I am blessed with a loving husband and three wonderful children. Our family heritage is rooted in cattle ranching, spanning five generations and now raising the sixth. This background not only enriches my perspective as a healthcare professional but also instills in me a profound appreciation for community and resilience.
