My name is Jillian Hurt. I completed my Masters degress in Dietetics at Eastern Illinois University and began my career as a Register Dietitian teaching numerous nutrition courses to undergraduate and graduate students at Eastern Illinois University shortly after. This position allowed my to create nutrition education materials and presentations to educate dietetic, kinesiology, and nursing students. I have worked for WIC as a nutritionist helping guide the eating habits for pregnant and breastfeeding women, children and infants.I have worked as a telehealth dietitian and love the ability to reach more patients, with this format, than every before. My love for the topic of nutrition lead me to working on a PhD in Integrative and Functional Nutrition to further expand my knowledge of food, medical nutrition therapy, and healthy lifestyle habits. I enjoy sharing my knowledge base to empower people to achieve healthy and enjoyable lives.
