About
About
I am a dually board-certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC) with nearly three decades of clinical experience dedicated to integrating primary family care, psychiatric-mental health, and advanced metabolic health. In my current practice, I specialize in providing holistic, patient-centered care for individuals navigating complex metabolic and chronic health conditions . A major pillar of my clinical work is guiding patients through modern, evidence-based weight management and diabetes care, particularly through the precise prescribing and clinical monitoring of GLP-1 receptor agonists . I treat weight management not merely as a clinical metric, but as a path to reclaiming vitality, mobility, and long-term health. My commitment to clinical excellence is built upon a continuous, rigorous academic path. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of South Alabama and completed my post-graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner training at National University. I also hold Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing from Loma Linda University. Recognizing that systemic health requires an understanding of complex behavioral patterns, I am currently completing an advanced Primary Care Fellowship in Addiction Medicine through the University of California, Irvine (UCI). This diverse background allows me to address the psychological, behavioral, and biological facets of metabolic health, helping patients achieve sustainable success on their wellness journeys. Outside of my clinical practice, my greatest joy is spending quality time with my family. Whether we are relaxing together watching movies or exploring new destinations while sightseeing, I deeply value the moments that bring us closer. Maintaining these active, joyful connections with my own family is what fuels my passion as a healthcare provider. I know first-hand that improving your physical health through tools like GLP-1 therapy isn't just about the numbers on a scale—it is about gaining the energy and longevity to fully show up for the people you love and enjoy life's beautiful sights.
