Raul Perez Vazquez

Dr. Raul Perez Vazquez is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over a decade of experience helping patients take control of their health through evidence-based, personalized care. He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, where he trained in a wide range of clinical environments. Having worked extensively in both traditional clinic settings and telemedicine, he brings a unique skillset obtained from working in both these environments. At Mochi, Dr. Perez Vazquez focuses on weight management, supporting patients with tools and strategies that are sustainable, practical, and grounded in scientific evidence. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Perez Vazquez values building strong, long-term relationships with his patients and takes pride in making complex medical concepts easy to understand. He has been recognized with multiple clinical awards, including Top Doc in Florida, and continues to bring a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every patient encounter. Outside of medicine, Dr. Perez Vazquez enjoys staying active through exercise, spending time at the beach, cooking, and dancing. Most of all, he values time with his wife and two sons, which keeps him balanced and grounded in the work he loves.
