How does tadalafil work?
Tadalafil relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow to the penis, making it easier to get and keep an erection when you're sexually aroused. It works by blocking PDE5, an enzyme that normally limits blood flow.
How do I take it?
Tadalafil comes in a small tablet you can take with or without food. For daily use, take one low-dose tablet at the same time each day so you're always ready when the moment strikes. For as-needed use, take it 30–60 minutes before sexual activity. Effects can last up to 36 hours, so there's no need to rush. Keep in mind, it only works when you're sexually aroused, so a little foreplay goes a long way.
