How does progesterone work?
Progesterone is a hormone your body naturally produces. As a medication, it supplements your body's own levels to help balance estrogen, support sleep and mood, and protect the uterine lining during hormone therapy.
How do I take it?
Progesterone comes as an oral tablet, typically taken once daily at bedtime since it can promote drowsiness and support sleep. Your provider will determine the right dose and schedule for you. For best results, take it at the same time each day.
