The treatment
Understanding the treatment
Active Ingredient:
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+)
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell of the body that participates in energy metabolism, DNA repair, and cellular signaling, and whose levels decline naturally with age. This topical form is applied to the skin as a needle-free alternative to injectable NAD+. Topical NAD+ is not FDA-approved as a treatment for any specific medical condition; it is offered as a compounded preparation made by state-licensed compounding pharmacies under prescription. Whether NAD+ is appropriate for you, the dose, and the regimen are determined by your Mochi provider.

Side effects
Most common: application-site redness, itching, dryness, or mild stinging. Less common: contact dermatitis. Allergic reactions are rare but possible — stop use and seek care if you experience spreading rash, swelling, or trouble breathing.
Avoid When
Pregnancy or breastfeeding; known hypersensitivity to NAD+ or any excipient in the cream; broken, eczematous, or irritated skin at the application site. Use caution with active cancer (the role of NAD+ in tumor metabolism is not fully understood). Discuss with your provider before starting if you have any chronic skin condition.
