"I Thought the Whole Point Was That Mochi Was Flat Rate"
This has been the most common reaction, and it is a fair one. If you signed up specifically because your price would not change as you titrated up, the switch to dose-based pricing reads like a rule change mid-game.
Here is the accounting. Under the old rates, everyone on compounded semaglutide paid $99 and everyone on compounded tirzepatide paid $199, whatever their dose. The highest dose of each still costs exactly that.
The honest tradeoff: for most people the bill is smaller, and you can see what your next dose costs before you move up. In exchange, your bill now moves when your dose moves, as opposed to the predictable one fixed number.
How to Find the Price for Your Dose
Log into the Mochi app or patient portal and look at your upcoming order. That view shows the price for the dose you are currently prescribed.
If you are thinking about moving up, you can also see what the next dose costs before you commit to it. That is genuinely useful information to have when you and your provider are weighing whether to titrate, and it did not exist under flat pricing because there was nothing to compare.

What This Means if You Have Not Started Yet
If cost is why you have not tried a GLP-1, the entry point is lower than it has ever been. Compounded semaglutide starts at $60 per month and compounded tirzepatide at $90, based on the lowest available dose.
